Elcotec was a major contract manufacturer who produced products for a number of manufacturers, including Technicolor, a Thomson Company and Directv.

When the facility closed, its assets were siezed and then sold to pay wages owned to employees, and PCC became the benefactor of the component inventory.

Directv is an American direct broadcast satellite service provider and broadcaster based in El Segundo, California.

Technicolor is the technology leader of digital innovation in the media and entertainment sectors.
