 PC Components Company Meets IDEA Expanded Membership Requirements

Seaside Park, NJ – July 7, 2009 – The Independent Distributors of Electronics Association (IDEA) has expanded its membership requirements to ensure that its members meet the strictest standards with the industry.  The new requirements included numerous ethical signed agreements, incorporate standards into its Quality Management System, be certified to ANSI ESD S20.20, and have at least one IDEA-ICE-3000 certified component inspector at each of its distribution facilities.

“I am very please with the IDEA’s decision to expand the membership requirements and hope that other members will strive to exceed these requirements by adopting the IDEA STD-1010-A.  Only by maintaining the highest standards in the industry will we be able to preserve the integrity of independent distribution.” Says James C.
